Kevin started his career in EMS in 1993 when he attended EMT school at Kilgore Junior College in Kilgore, TX. He then attended Texas A&M /Scott & White Paramedic Program where he graduated and became certified by the Texas Department of Health as a Paramedic in 1994. He has since taken numerous courses at Oklahoma State University and other universities where he has furthered his education, finishing degree requirements and allowing him to obtain his license paramedic by the State of Texas. [READ MORE]

Wanda Wiktorik serves as the BVRAC Secretary and has been in this role for several years. Wanda began her nursing career in 1977 as a Nurse’s Aide. She graduated from LVN school in 1980 and RN school in 1985. She has done mostly ER nursing , but also worked in ICU, OR, OB and Med Surg. [READ MORE]

Amy Richardson, RN, CFRN, CEN NREMT-P - Treasurer

Amy grew up in the Brazos Valley and has been a nurse for over 12 years working several Emergency Departments from a rural ER to a Level 1 trauma Facility and Pediatric and Adult ICU. Amy is also a Paramedic who managed a Critical Care Ground Transport Team that also backed up 911 for a busy EMS service in Central Texas in 2005-2007. Currently she is a Flight Nurse for PHI Air Medical, which also is the CQI representative and in charge of the Third Rider Program. Amy continues to work at St Joseph Regional Emergency Department PRN and also For Hilltop Lakes EMS PRN. Amy holds instructor certifications in ACLS, PALS and ENPC and has lectured on Pediatric topics.

Mrs. Plotts grew up in Houston, TX and completed her Associate Degree in Nursing at Houston Community College in 1995. She has practiced as a registered nurse in multiple departments in both the Memorial Hermann system in Houston as well as St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. She also practiced as a Home Health Supervisor for Interim Healthcare in Bryan. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas at Tyler in 2008.  [READ MORE]

Sandy Medina graduated with honors from UT Health Science Center San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Sciences. She is a former student of the paramedic program and graduated with honors from Blinn College. Sandy has been with Blinn College as a part time employee since 2006. She came on full time in 2008 as the Instructor for the paramedics. In 2009, she became the Clinical Coordinator of the EMS Programs. Sandy works part-time at Hilltop Lakes EMS. Sandy is very active in volunteering. She attends a mission trip once a year and volunteers with Special Olympics. Sandy can be reached at 979-691-2124.

Dr. Eric Wilke, M.D. - Systems QI Committee Chair

Eric Wilke graduated from Texas A&M University in 1991 and then attended Texas A&M College of Medicine. After medical school, he completed a four-year Emergency Medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. After completing residency, Dr. Wilke continued at Maricopa Medical Center as teaching faculty and medical director. At the same time, he and his partners started a medical software company that grew and merged into a major company in the space of electronic data capture in FDA pharmaceutical trials (currently DataTrak). Chris Lamb is the proud Director of Robertson County EMS. He has worked his way up over a 12 year service history with the company. He started back in 1999 as an EMT. Through the years he promoted up to Captain, then to Director of Operations in 2004. He has now had the honor serving as Chief Director for the better half of 4 years now. Before Robertson County EMS, Chris grew up in Spring Texas where he was your average kid who loved sports and many other hobbies. After high school he went to Blinn College to obtain his EMT-B just out of interest. Once enrolled he knew he had found the career he would do for the rest of his working life. [READ MORE]
